New for 2012
In honor of the 125th anniversary of the automobile, we're unveiling yet another all-new member of the Mercedes-Benz family. Hitting showrooms in the U.S. this fall, the 2012 C-Class Coupe combines an aggressive design with a pulse-quickening ride and sport-oriented luxury - marking yet another milestone in a proud legacy of Mercedes-Benz coupes.
Design
At curbside, the 2012 C-Class Coupe seduces with its windswept profile, compact proportions and powerful lines. While the C-Class Coupe pedigree is unmistakable in the design, this red-blooded coupe stands on its own, with chiseled sport body styling from fender to fender and standard LED daytime running lamps underneath a menacing front grille with integrated three-pointed star.
Engine
Under the hood sits your choice of a 302-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 or a 201-horsepower 1.8-liter turbocharged inline-four engine - both featuring direct-injection technology that helps deliver coupe-worthy performance with remarkable fuel economy. Output is channeled through the sophisticated 7G-TRONIC 7-speed automatic transmission, which adapts to individual driving styles for smooth and efficient power delivery. Responsive handling comes courtesy of a standard AGILITY CONTROL® suspension that automatically adjusts damping to help improve stability when cornering at speed or reacting quickly to the unexpected.
Interior
Open the door of the all-new 2012 C-Class Coupe and you'll find a meticulously crafted cockpit designed for driving enjoyment. Four, sculpted sport seats with integrated headrests promise to cradle you through turns, while a three-spoke sport steering wheel with shift paddles and a chromed central spoke awaits your commands. Beneath the standard panorama sunroof lie large swaths of brushed aluminum, Burl Walnut wood or optional Ash Olive Matte wood trim, taking a refined spin on performance. And a new infotainment system with standard, 5.8-inch color LCD display, intuitive central controller, Bluetooth® audio streaming and USB connectivity will make time behind the wheel even more rewarding -- especially with the addition of optional hard-drive navigation, SIRIUS Satellite Radio and harman/kardon® Logic 7® surround-sound system.
